Apple has equipped its iPhone 7 with a Retina IPS LCD screen, whose resolution is 750 x 1334 pixels and whose pixel density is 326 ppi (pixels per inch).

- The screen of the iPhone 7 is painted with a coating that is resistant to oils and fingerprints; in addition to that, the glass from which this screen is made is of the Corning Gorilla type, which is resistant to breakage and scratching.

- The screen brightness is 625 nits in standard mode, in addition to the iPhone 7's screen supporting 16 million colors.

- Apple has provided the iPhone 7 with an operating system of the type iOS 10.0.1, which can be updated to iOS 13.6.1, as the iPhone 7 is one of the phones that do not support the iOS 16 operating system.

- The main processor of the iPhone 7 is of the type A10 Fusion, which is produced by Apple, as it manufactured this processor with 16 nm technology, and the main processor comes with four cores, two of which are of the Hurricane type, and the other two cores are of the Zephyr type, and each of these cores has a frequency of 2.34 GHz.

- The graphics processor for the iPhone 7 is produced by Apple and is of the PowerVR Series 7XT Plus type; this processor comes with six cores.


Memory

Apple has designed the iPhone 7 with three basic memory versions that agree with each other in random-access memory (RAM), where its capacity is 2GB, and differ with each other in internal memory, where their capacities are as follows:
  • The first version comes with an internal memory capacity of 32 GB.
  • The second version comes with an internal memory capacity of 128 GB.
  • The third version comes with an internal memory capacity of 256 GB.
Apple designed the internal memory of the iPhone 7 as NVME and the random-access memory (RAM) as LPDDR4.


Dimensions & body

Apple designed the iPhone 7 with a length of 138.3 mm, a width of 67.1 mm, and a thickness of 7.1 mm, while the weight of the phone was 138 grams.

And the body of the iPhone 7 Apple has chosen a wonderful design for it, where the front face is made of gorilla glass that is resistant to breakage and scratching, and the back side of the phone as well as the surrounding frame are made of aluminum metal.

The iPhone 7 is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance, as it can resist water to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. As for the colors that Apple has chosen for the iPhone 7, they are the following colors: black, shiny black, gold, rose gold and silver.


Camera

Apple has designed the iPhone 7 with two cameras, the first at the rear and the second at the front, and the following are the details of each:

Rear camera: 

This camera shoots in a wide angle; the resolution of this camera is 12 MP, the aperture is f/1.8, and the focal length of the lens is 28 mm.

The rear camera zooms in and out digitally up to 5x, and it is equipped with an optical stabilizer (OIS) to get a clear image. This lens is a hexagonal one, and the lens cover is sapphire crystal.

The iPhone 7 camera records video in 4K at 30 fps; it also records video in 1080p at 30 fps and 60 fps, and records video in 720p at 30 fps.

Front Camera: 

The resolution of the front camera is 7 MP, the aperture is f/2.2, and the incendiary dimension of this lens is 32 mm. This camera records video in 1080p resolution.


Network

The iPhone 7 supports the installation of a nano SIM card, and the types of communication networks supported by this phone are: GSM/CDMA/HSPA/EVDO/LTE, which support 2G, 3G, and 4G networks.

The Internet speed supported by the phone on third-generation networks is 42.2 Mbps, and the Internet speed on fourth-generation networks is 450 Mbps.


Connectivity

Apple has provided the iPhone 7 with a set of services and features that are useful for the possibility of transferring data through it; the most prominent of these features are:

  • The iPhone 7 supports WiFi service in the following versions: WiFi 802.11 a/b/n/g/ac, in addition to the dual-band feature and the hotspot feature.
  • The iPhone 7 supports Bluetooth version 4.2 with A2DP and LE.
  • The iPhone 7 supports the NFC feature, which is used to transfer data by bringing the device closer to another receiver that supports this feature.
  • The iPhone 7 supports the following location services: GPS, Galileo, Glonass, and QZSS.
  • iPhone 7 with Apple's Lightning connector. 


Battery

Apple has equipped the iPhone 7 with a non-removable lithium-ion battery. The capacity of this battery is 1960 mAh, and its life lasts more than two hours if we compare it with the iPhone 6s.

The battery is enough for 14 hours to make a connection over the 3G network, for 13 hours to play videos, and for 40 hours to play audio clips.

When using the Internet, the battery is sufficient for 12 hours when using the 3G network; it is also sufficient for 12 hours when using the 3G LTE network; and it is sufficient for 14 hours when using the WiFi network.
